I can confirm what jeroompje is saying.

It's only the secondary display in clone mode that's having these problems. If the monitor i secondary then it has tearing.

Hi all,

I have tested the DQ87PG board from my side using a processor with HD 4600 and I was not able to replicate the issue. I tested on clone, extended and single display but everything was working fine for me. You can check the files attached which are the dxdiag and the graphics report.

At this point, I recommend you updating the bios on your computer and installing the monitor drivers.

Hi!

I have a DH87RL (-402) Mainboard and a i5-4670.

I am using the HD4600 to connect a TV via HDMI and a projector via DVI-HDMI (both FullHD).

I can reproduce the tearing when i use the screen duplicate function in Win 8.1. Latest Intel drivers and bios are installed. Vsync enabled and working in extended or single screen mode.

Very annoying indeed.

Hi All

I have replicated the issue in our lab. It is also being tracked in this thread, /message/222400# 222400 https://communities.intel.com/message/222400# 222400 .

What I am seeing is a horizontal "tearing" particularly during high action scenes.. However, I only see it when I make the TV the secondary display in Clone Mode. I do not see it when I make the TV the primary display or in Extended Mode. I never see the issue occur on the 24" LCD display, only on the 50" LCD TV. I am continuing to investigate.

I'd be interested in knowing whether the RedFlicker.exe program from also replicates the issue in your lab. The symptom is seeing any red on the display; correct operation should show only blue.

Hi All

This issue has been determined to be expected behavior when in "Clone" or Duplicate" mode while displaying content on two displays. Please see Microsoft Knowledge Base article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972194 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972194

The behavior can also be seen on some non-Intel graphics chipsets as well.

Please see the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972194 KB article for workarounds for the issue.
