Hello, sorry for my english
There notebook Lenovo Y700 (Intel HD530 driver 20.19.15.4474) and monitor Dell2717D
Connect a monitor with an HDMI cable.
Intel HD Graphics Control Panel added a new resolution of 2560 * 1440 * 30
Monitor became determined to clone and extended display mode
But I can not install it in the single display mode.
Write NO HDMI cable.
What could be the reason?

Hello LeshaRB,
Let me see if I understand correctly, you have a notebook Lenovo and you want to use the external monitor connected with HDMI as the single monitor and you don't want the build-in display to work, you want only the external one to work, correct?
Please let me know if I'm correct.
If this is the case, then all you need to do is to access the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel, right click on the desktop and select graphics properties, then click on display and then multiple displays, select the one that you want as the primary monitor and then select single display, click apply.
That should do it for you.
Regards,
Ivan.

Yes exactly.
This method does not work, I tried
I can run these modes :.
duplication mode
Expansion Mode screens
But I can not run on an external monitor simple mode. =((
=====
I reinstall Windows.
The maximum that survived driver from the official website of 1990 * 1080 * 60 on an external monitor.
I had to put a program like "Asulogics Driver Updatre or EasyDriver Updater"
Add a profile on 2560 * 1440 * 30
And there have already gone duplication mode or extended mode on the second monitor.
But I can not show just the second in any.

Being that the case, it is possible that this is a limitation by your Laptop manufacturer, please bear in mind that we provide drivers and components to your computer manufacturer, your http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/oems.html computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Intel recommends you contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information.
However, you can try our latest generic graphics driver, you can download it here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88345
Before installing this driver we recommend uninstalling the older driver first, please see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver
Once the driver is uninstalled restart your system, and then install the latest driver manually, see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*
Please be aware that we supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you first check with your http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/oems.html computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided.
Best regards,
Ivan.

Thank you
I uninstall driver from Lenovo
Install this drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-%3Fproduct%3D88345 single mode for external display don't work =(((
Also external montior don't work on 2560*1440*30 only 1940*1080*60 in external mode or double mode
If I install programs like "Asulogics Driver Updatre or EasyDriver Updater" and update Intel driver
External monitor will be work with resolution 2560*1440*30
But single mode for external monitor also does not work =(

At this point, I suggest you to contact your system manufacturer for better support, we have tested this driver with all type of configurations and we don't experience similar issues.
Please try to contact Lenovo as they are more familiar with your system than we are and explained to them the troubleshooting we have done and that Intel has tested this driver and we don't experience similar issues.
You should be able to get support here:
http://support.lenovo.com/cr/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/y700-15isk?beta=false http://support.lenovo.com/cr/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-y-series-laptops/y700-15isk?beta=false
Also, see if there is an INF file for your monitor from your monitor manufacturer's website. The INF file includes supported refresh rates, screen resolution, and color quality settings and can resolve monitor or display problems.
Regards,
Ivan.
