Third attempt - old problem with Allegro based application

Hello,

this issue has been discussed earlier in and ... and still persists.

Is there really nobody who can or will explain why our application works in dual, but not in single monitor mode?

Switching to Allegro 5 is only an option in the long run...whereat nobody can guarantee that it will really solve the problem.

To make things clear once more and once and for all: The intel driver has no problems at all with allegro 4 and our application...when operating in dual monitor mode.

Is it really so much hassle to take a look what the driver is turning on/off when switching between single/dual monitor mode?

Please? Please! Please(!)

Regards,

Michael

Hello,

a customer reported no problems with our application with an Intel Core-i7 3610QM with HD 4000.

But as that notebook also has an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M, could you try to reproduce the problem with the demo-version once more:

Maybe the HD 4000 is completely deactivated on that machine?!

Hello,

I don't give up on this...and just received an information from a customer, also having problems with the HD Graphics and the program "IBAS" from Löpertz Software, a Java based application. In that case there are problems with the input masks of the program, not showing any input while typing...seems to be a refresh problem, the customer stated.

To avoid the problem, they are switching to separate graphic cards, which we recommend our customers, too (besides from switching to AMD hardware, as many of our customers purchasing new hardware especially for our program).

Regards,

Michael
