Triple display on HD 4200 Dell Venue Pro 11 - Built in, DP(DVI/VGA), HDMI(DVI)

Hello,

I'm trying to get two external displays working from the DELL Venue Pro 11 dock. I have a Core i5-4300Y and HP 4200. I'm trying to find the right combination for triple display to work. The dock has a DP and an HDMI connector on it. I've tried both external monitors on DVI and the DP as VGA but in both cases the DP will not become active. I've tried reading through the FAQs and interpreting the charts of supported combinations but I'm confused.

Can someone help point me in the right direction. I really like this new Windows 8 - Core i5 tablet and just want to drive the dual monitors that my desktop used to support. The 10" display is good for some things but not for all the same things as my larger external monitors. Thank you.

-Nyle

Thank you. If you need any additional debugging information, I'd be happy to provide it. This is a fresh install of Windows 8.1 from the factory. I've used both the latest DELL certified driver and the latest driver from Intel's website.I can't get even a single attached DVI monitor to work from the Displayport, with no other external monitors attached.

Currently, I have one DVI monitor working from the HDMI port and another working from the min-HDMI port on the side of the tablet.

I've tried 3 different models of Dell DVI monitors, including a newer 23 inch. All monitors are in working order.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the delayed answer, I have been checking with our engineering team and their response was that you will need to address this matter directly through your computer manufacturer, since tablets are very much different from a normal computer or laptop.

Thank you. I appreciate the answer but could you possibly work towards get someone at Intel working with DELL on the issue. Apparently, DELL has no solution for even getting a single monitor to work on the Displayport reliably unless it's a DP monitor. I think they could really use Intel's help. This is making DELL and Intel look poorly, especially when the Venue 11 Pro is being tested across the Country by many agencies/companies.

I have even purchased an Active adapter and have the second revision of the docking station. I still cannot get video to any DVI monitor we have except from the HDMI ports. It really seems like a driver issue at this point.

It definitely works, maybe not all active adapters are equal? I use 2 startech dp2dvis, one on an a00 dock and the other on an a01. No arguing the A01 works better, but they work on both. You can always use the mini hdmi on the tablet itself, I did that for a while while I found away to get the dp working, I relalise it's not as convenient.
