UHD730 only running at base frequency

Recently i update driver version to 31.0.101.3430 from 30.0.101.1191,

then i feel some performence problem, so i use gpuz and find out the gpu clock stuck at 300MHz.

I try reinstall uhd 730 from device manager, it's back to normal, working fine,

but somehow it stuck at base frequency again, i don't know what happened.

Temperature only 50 celsius degree, so it's not overheat.

OS: windows10 21h2

cpu:i3-12100

In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:


  • By any chance, have you tried rolling back to the previous driver version and check if the frequency keeps getting stuck at 300 MHz?
  • Is the base frequency getting stuck when doing any task in specific such as gaming, browsing, using an editor application/software, etc.?

IPDT all passed.

I tried 30.0.101.1991, 31.0.101.1999(from windows update), 31.0.101.3430/31.0.101.2111, didn't help.

I trying 30.0.101.1191 now.

And yes, I give some task make sure not in idle.

All version did clean install, except 31.0.101.1999.

When I got this, I installed KB5018410 too, may be I should uninstall it.

Others, in 31.0.101.3430, dota2 use much more RAM(slowly increase), eventually not enough RAM for it cause poor performance,

after that i back to 30.0.101.1991 it fixed, but only play one game in 31.0.101.3430.

Perfect, it is great to know that the processor passed the intel PDT test. Based on that, we can rule out a possible hardware problem with the unit itself.


There is a new graphics driver version available on our website, 31.0.101.2114. Please try a clean installation of that driver following the instructions in the links below:

If the problem persists after that, please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":
