Update: Intel HD 3000 Graphics Doesn't detect "DENON A/V Receiver" as HDMI Audio Device

I have a computer with Intel HD graphics 2500 connected to a Denon AV Reciever using displayport > HDMI cable.

I get picture, but the Denon AVR is not detected as audio device.

If I connect the same computer with the same cable directly to a monitor, it detects HD audio...

Using another computer with ATI graphics and same cable the Denon AVR is detected as HD Audio device.

I have concluded that it is the intel HD graphics adapter that doesn't detect DENON AVR as a sound device for some reason..

I have tried uninstalling and updating to the latest drivers with no luck.

Does anyone have any solutions that might help solve this problem?

Have you updated the firmware of the Denon AVR you are using and also tried a direct connection between the computer and the receiver?

Please provide the dxdiag report from your system to have additional information on the system being used.
