Updated driver does not support the frame rate required by my monitors, old one is fine

Repeated forced updates to the intel graphics driver on my laptop are breaking my environment.

Unfortunately the new driver lowers the frame rate that my monitors run at, and they stop working.
I have tried to reset the frame rate, but the new driver no longer shows the required frequency in the compatible resolutions box.

It was there in the previous version. I am very frustrated that every time I leave my laptop to itself it updates this again forcing me to roll it back over and over. The critical value here appears to be the refresh rate. If it is not set to 75Hz the monitors do not come on, while the computer assumes they are working.

I need my monitors native settings back in the supported list OR a way to permanently stop the intel graphics driver from updating.
