Updating my graphics driver

Hello,
I was updating my intel graphics driver from the website and clicked on it too many times. It then opened a few downloads and said that it could complete the process because there were already updated running. Then I closed them all and reopened it once. It still claims that there is still one running. However, it still says updating in the intel graphics software app. I don’t want to restart my pc and risk screwing the update up...but it just keeps spinning. I don’t see any open pop-up windows in the background either.

Upon checking the screenshot you provided, it appears that there is a stock application installation detected on the system. To further investigate this issue, I would like to gather some additional information before we proceed with the next troubleshooting steps.


  1. Have you tried updating the drivers using Intel Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA)?
  2. Are you still experiencing the issue at this time? If yes, when was the most recent occurrence?
  3. Based on the screenshot provided, can you confirm if the update shown is related to the graphics driver?


Once we receive this information, we will continue with the investigation accordingly.
