Hello everyone,
I had the opportunity to test all generations of NUC from 7 to 13, used as video players with the Samsung MagicInfo software (latest version)
Since generation 12 on all integrated video cards we are experiencing that Video not rendering when YUV mixing mode enabled in VMR9, the result is a simple black screen.
Currently for testing i have a new NUC13ANKI3000 with latest driver: 31.0.101.4889 and Intel UHD Graphics
I also made some test with NUC12 and Dell OptiPlex 7000 and every intel integrated video card has the same result, also tested in Windows 11, and software rendering.

Hello PierPaolo,
Thank you for sharing this information with us. However, the Technical and Warranty Support for Intel’s NUC 7 through NUC 13 Systems has transitioned to ASUS as of January 16, 2024. It would be best to contact ASUS about this results. You may reach out to them at this link: https://www.asus.com/support
For now, I will go ahead and close this thread.

From what I can determine, VMR9 is based off of DirectX 9. Since this is considered legacy code now, I believe this is being phased out in GPU hardware support and being used as software support only. There is a newer generic Intel IGD graphics driver that was released on 3/29/24, 31.0.101.5382 WHQL Certified. Maybe try this version to see this has been fixed.
Have you checked to see that you are using the latest version of the Samsung MagicInfo software is being used?
Since newer Intel CPUs are using ARC graphics as the base for internal displays, anything before DirectX 11 & 12 is going to get harder to support.
