Updated graphics divers to gfx_win_101.6449_1016256 on 01/05/2025 had no issue. Then on 01/09/2025 I was checking task manager after seeing unusual write activity to the SDD and seen WMI Provider Host, Intel Graphics Software, Asus Armoury Crate, and a bunch of Microsoft service hosts constantly using CPU and writing to SSD.
I checked the WMI logs and found errors for Intel Graphics Software, Intel PresentMon API, Intel Extreme Tuning, and Asus Armoury Crate dating back to the 01/05/2025 driver install.
Checked the Windows System logs and found a bunch of warnings and errors related to these same programs.
Everything is working fine other than the CPU and SSD write usage. From what I read in the logs it seems like the there is a conflict involving sensor data and hardware identification. I use Armoury Crate for system fan controls and Intel Graphics Software for fan controls on Sapphire A770 graphics card. HWiNFO64 shows all temperatures and fans are running according to settings.
My main concern is the amount of write to my SSD as it is reaching 100's of gigabytes a day.
Thanks in advance for any attention you give this issue and I am willing to give you any additional information about and from logs.

Hello cam50,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I'm currently looking into this issue and would need to know more about your system configuration so I we can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This can be shared by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt)
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Thank you for reply. I have attached the scan from SSU, let me know if you need more logs or information.
Will also make a support post to ASUS as I think the WMI issue might be a conflict between Armoury Crate and the new Intel Graphics software when requesting hardware information and sensor data. WMI logs show both these programs timing out when what looks like they are requesting hardware information or sensor data.
