Why doesn't Intel HD4000 support 3k resolution?

I currently use all of the graphic ports in my GTX 770 for nvidia surround, and i use the HD4000 currently for a 4'th display, but it doesnt support 3k? How come?I have dedicated the APU to use 1GB ram for video memory, but still it says the bandwith of the chip is too poor? o.O

Hi sonarctica,

I am sorry you are having problems to set the 4th monitor with that resolution.

It is important to say that the Intel® HD Graphics Controller can handle resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 so based on the picture you provided the error you are getting can be caused because of the limitation with this controller. You can check this information at the following link:
