Widescreen on Intel 810e chipset

I've just bought a 1440x900 19" widescreen monitor, but it seems not supported by the intel 810e old chipset as i can't choose that resolution in windows xp. Is there any solution like downloading a latest graphic driver supporting widesreen? Thank you very much.
