Windows 10 Ver 1607 64 bit driver for intel HD graphics 3000

Hi All

I have a HP dv6-6016tx laptop with 2 display adapters in the display manager:

  1. AMD Radeon HD 7400M
  2. Intel HD Graphics 3000

When I first updated to windows 10, the screen would go blank for about 45 seconds while starting up and resuming from sleep. I fixed this by setting the EnableULPS registry key to 0. I think this just disabled the Intel Driver.

When I updated to Windows 10 ver 1607, I found that AMD Catalyst had been uninstalled (possibly not compatible) and the blank screen problem returned.

Now when I open device manager the driver details of Intel HD Graphics 3000 are:

Driver Version: 9.17.10.4229 Dated 05/27/15 Provided By Intel.

The driver on Intel website is for Windows 7 & 8 Only

Date: 05-Jun-2015 Version: 15.28.24.64.4229 (Latest) OS: Windows 7, 64-bit*, Windows 8, 64-bit*

I want to know whether I can install the above driver on Windows 10 ver 1607 (64 bit) Build: 14393.321 and whether the blank screen problem will go away.

Thanks is advance for your reply.

Hello VS228,

Correct, Intel HD Graphics 3000 is not supported for Windows 10*

The driver 4229 is the latest available for Windows 8.1*

You could disable each of the graphics adapters in the device manager to find out which works the best.

I apologize for any issue this may have caused!

Hi VS228, try this drivers Catalyst 16.2.1 UnifL: http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=1176 http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=1176

The drivers are up to date to May 30, 2016 - Intel v.10.17.10.4229, AMD v.16.301.1901.0

I use them on my laptop with Windows 10 Pro x64 v1607 14393.447, AMD Radeon HD 6700M and Intel HD Graphics 3000 and works fine.

Thank you for the information provided, Francisco77

Please note these are not official drivers and Intel does not fully recommend using them, VS228 .

Hi Esteban, I understand, but Intel does not provide support for dual graphics card, only the manufacturer, like HP in this case.

So, my recommendation is based in my experience because I had a similar problem and these drivers worked for me on Windows 10.

Is it compatible with AMD Radeon HD 7400M?

Installation instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards

UnifL stands for `Unified Leshcat Drivers`.

Those drivers are based on latest AMD + Intel Drivers and aimed to support laptops (and Desktops too) powered with:

• AMD 5xxx/6xxx/7xxx/8xxx/Rxxx Series

• Intel HD/HD2000/HD2500/HD3000/HD4000/Iris/Haswell/Broadwell CPU Embedded Graphics

UnifL drivers are designed and tested on x64 versions of Windows 7/Windows 8.1/Windows 10,

however it should work on Server Editions (i.e: Windows Server 2008) as well.

Unified Leshcat Driver Manual v1.5.2 11.01.2016: http://leshcatlabs.net/manual_chm/ http://leshcatlabs.net/manual_chm/

I hope it helps.
