New to the community so i am hoping someone can help...
DELL VOSTRO 1015 Laptop - Previously running Windows 7 with no issues, until I upgraded to Windows 10...
As an ametuer 3D Artist, I have been messing with DAZ3d for a while, which was all good on my old Operating System...
Since the upgrade to Windows 10 - The program will not run... I get a message saying that I need OpenGL 1.3 or higher and the my computer only has 1.1
According to the DELL website - All my drivers are up to date so now I am stuck! What can I do? I know the Graphics chip in the Vostro is capable of taking OpenGL 1.6 at most, but there appears to be no drivers from Dell for Windows 10.
As I have already had Windows 10 running for a week, I cannot even downgrade as it has already deleted the old windows files.
Can anyone Help?

Thats 2010 year hardware not supported by Intel for Windows 10, so no graphical drivers. To get OpenGl support (limited) you can try http://sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect/ GLDirect download | SourceForge.net (free, but outdated) or http://users.ininet.hu/geri/TitaniumGL/ TitaniumGL (newer, but tryware).

Thanks for that, I will try both...
I have found that Dell are working on Drivers for Windows 10 for this old system... but none are available as yet. So there must be a fair few people with this type of old chipset still.
Not only that, but with so many qualifying for a free upgrade to Windows 10 - I suppose they have not been left with much choice.
Honestly though - Even if your solution works, I think I will be going back to Windows 7 until I get a better PC.... My honest view of Windows 10 is it looks great, and overall is very nice but it hogs memory like a (Excuse my language) B**ch in heat! Its not a good OS at all unless you have a really powerful PC... Jesus! Even older games that have a habit of running too fast that were developed for 98 tend to lag!!! That's never a good sign!

Please bear in mind your Dell Vostro computer integrates an Intel(R) 4 series chipset and it does not have support for Windows 10: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034343.htm Graphics Drivers — Supported Operating Systems

This is how I got OpenGL 2.1 working on Dell Vostro 1015 running Windows 2012 R2 -
0) Disable Windows driver signature enforcement -
launch cmd as Admin enter -
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
reboot.
1) Download latest Intel 4500 driver for Windows 7 and unpack

2) Edit /DIRECTORY_WHERE_UNPACKED/Graphics/kit49684.inf -
Go to line line 60 nd change
[Manufacturer]
%Intel% = IntelGfx, NTamd64.5.1, NTamd64.6.0, NTamd64.6.2
to

Thanks for sharing this information. It has not been officially tested but this is good to know.
