Windows 7 does not recognize USB 3.0 device on Intel® Chief River Chipset HM76

I bought Laptop ASUS K55VM and my dock HDD USB 3.0 is not recognized by Chipset HM76.

But my dock can be recognized by Chipset HM65 on ASUS K43SD and so far.

ASUS warranty services told my dock wasn't compatible with Chipset HM76. Is that true?

Hope some one can help me!

Thanks very much!

I had ready solved my problem.

When I opened my dock HDD, I saw chipset JMS551.

I had updated firmware and now my problem is solved.

Hi!

I would like to know the name of the USB 3.0 controller your computer has. Would you please open the Device Manager and let me know the options you have related to USB 3.0 under Universal Serial Bus Controllers? I would like to know the model number of the USB 3.0 Hard Drive as well.

Thanks!!
