I just installed Windows 8 Pro on my HP Envy 14 and now the HDMI output will not work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi gavin.j.tu,
Was the HDMI port working fine with another operating system or driver?
Would you please POST the Graphics Diagnostic Report? This link will help you to generate that report http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009476.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009476.htm
Thanks!

Hi gavin.j.tu,
Thanks for the graphics diagnostic report.
I can see you have a processor with Intel HD Graphics. What happens is that the graphics controller is not compatible with Windows 8. The driver you have currently installed is a generic driver and we cannot guarantee all of the graphics features will work fine. I recommend reinstalling the operating system that came with your computer since that is the operating system that has been validated by HP to work with your specific computer model.
Thanks!
