Windows Update overrides Intel Graphics - Windows DCH Drivers

I update my gfx drivers from the Intel app, and shortly after Windows Updates says the gfx drivers are out of date and re-installs the older version.

Both apps are fighting each other.  How can I prevent Windows Updates from doing this?

FYI, Windows will update the driver (overwriting the Intel one) and then also offer up an Optional Update.

This happened to me as well. I just accessed device manager, right clicked the intel graphics adapter, and clicked properties,  clicked update driver in the driver tab, , clicked Browse, clicked let me pick, then selected  the newer driver.
