Xe-LPG (Core Ultra 7 155U) throttled in 32.x drivers — 5522 appears to unlock full performance

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Lenovo Yoga 7i with Intel Core Ultra 7 155U (Meteor Lake, Xe-LPG graphics), purchased from Best Buy USA. I’ve been troubleshooting performance issues and noticed that newer drivers like 32.0.101.7029 throttle GPU clocks to ~300 MHz and result in poor 3D utilization in games like Valorant.

Based on community feedback and technical comparisons, driver version 31.0.101.5522 appears to unlock full GPU performance (~1900 MHz clocks, proper media decode, and stable AV1 playback). I haven’t installed 5522 yet, but I’d like to confirm:

- Is 5522 the optimal driver for Xe-LPG on Meteor Lake?
- Can Intel provide a verified installer for 5522?
- Will future drivers maintain full Xe-LPG support?

Would appreciate any help from Intel staff or users who’ve tested this. Thanks!
