XeSS on Linux

Hello. I’d like to request that XeSS, along with the Multi-frame Generator 4x, be added to Linux within the next two years. I’m not asking for it to be added immediately. But I’d like it to be added eventually, as promised. It would be great if there were also the option to install the control panel on Linux, just as there is on Windows. Currently, ARC cards from the Battlemage series generally perform better and run more stably on Linux than on Windows. So this could be a significant advantage for ARC cards. For example, in War Thunder, on the ARC B570, there was a massive VRAM leak which sometimes crashed not only the game but the entire system when using DX12. And when DX11 was forced, for some reason the FPS in War Thunder dropped sharply when rotating the camera and didn’t return to previous levels. On Linux, War Thunder runs wonderfully. The FPS might not be any higher, but at least it’s playable. Of course, the issue with War Thunder has already been reported, and Gaijin (the developers of War Thunder) have promised to fix the bug. Of course, XeSS on Linux doesn’t have to be open-source. You can do it the same way as with NVIDIA drivers. That is, you install the closed-source drivers from the website.

Wow. That happened fast. I thought that request would be ignored. But it wasn't. I'm actually surprised it happened so quickly.

Best regards,

What is the progress of getting XMX supported XeSS running on Linux? Please share a timeline.

I forgot to mention. As far as I know, you first need to enable access to the XMX units for Linux so that XeSS and the frame generator can work at all. I mean, XeSS technically works, but only in hardware mode—that is, XeSS running on the GPU core rather than on the XMX units.
