XvMC, YUYV (raw frames, 720x240 half frames) hardware deinterlacing

Hi, as the topic says I'm working on a videoplayer for Linux and BSD (which is coming right afterwards) and stumbled over the deinterlacing issue.

I read about Hardwarebased deinterlacing and Intel Clear Video, but so far I couldn't find more information about this topic about Linux.

So far I read that hw based deinterlacing is possible with xvmc but xvmc only supports mpeg and not raw videoframes?

Is there any further documentation available about this topic?

Marc
