Hello dsj9,
Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
Have you try installing the latest graphics driver, you can download it here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26669/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-45-?product=96551 Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.45]
If you get an error installing this driver, you can try installing it manually, please see how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

Thank you.
I downloaded the file and opened it but after a while I get an error message: "the driver being installed is not validated for this computer".
Driver version installed is 21.20.16.4550.

I'm sorry that you couldn't install this driver, the reasons why the Intel® generic driver cannot be installed is because your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of our generic driver, this is because the driver on your computer has been customized to work based on the features and specifications you computer has.
You can work around the error by first uninstalling the manufacturer's driver, then installing the Intel® Graphics Driver manually as it shows http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html here. However, you risk losing functionality or causing other technical issues.
At this point, I suggest you to check on the Acer website for new driver update, you should be able to download it here:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.
I have sent you a private message in case you would like to try to install the Intel® generic driver.
Best regards,
Ivan.
