I recently bought a HP ENVY Phoenix 810-470 Gaming Desktop and I am lost when it comes to computers. I have used apple products all my life and I don't know if i can or how to upgrade anything! The specs for the computer are here: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04545272 HP Support document - HP Support Center

The motherboard included on this computer is MSI Kaili2. It supports graphics cards with PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 3.0. The graphics card port is PCIe 2.1, so it is possible to add this card to the board.
Now, the current power supply provides with 460W. AMD recommends to use a power supply of 500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors.

It is necessary to verify with your desktop manufacturer if it is possible to replace the power supply.

Thank you that helps a bunch. I know I can replace the power supply, but I don't know where to look or what to look for. All the ones I have looked at have either bad reviews or are out of stock. Any chance you could recommend a good one that will do what I need it to?

It is better to contact your computer manufacturer and get a compatible power supply with the case and motherboard with the wattage requirements of the new graphics card.
