Hello epixman,

I understand you are trying to set a screen resolution of 1920x1080 in your Dell* laptop.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

In order to help you better I would like to get the Intel Graphics Driver Report. This link will show you how to generate it https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html

Are you using the built-in display of the laptop only?

Regards,

Hello epixman,

Thanks for the information you sent to me.

There is a chance the laptop manufacturer may have configured the built-in display to support up to 1366x768 screen resolution. This appears to be a limitation of the laptop screen itself, not a limitation of the graphics controller. If you need to get 1920x1080 you may try connecting an external monitor.

Our graphics controller supports the following screen resolutions:
  • DisplayPort* 2560 x 1600
  • HDMI, DVI and VGA 1920x1080

I recommend also contacting the laptop manufacturer in order to confirm the built-in display was designed to work at 1366x768 screen resolution. This link will give you their contact information http://www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/ae/en/aebsdt1/contactus/dynamic?lwp=rt http://www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/ae/en/aebsdt1/contactus/dynamic?lwp=rt

Regards,

Fred D.
