cannot update driver

i want to update my graphics driver which is the Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset family, so i have downloaded the update and run setup but the time i get to the readme information part and click next, an error comes up saying An Unknown error has occurred. Setup will exit.

so what should i do?

and also i have uninstalled my old intel driver from the add or remove programs

Hello,

It is important to make sure that the driver you are installing is the correct one for your graphics controller and the operating system you are using.

Please bear in mind that the Intel® Q965 Express Chipset and Intel® G965 Express Chipset do not have support for operating systems newer than Windows 7. Please refer to the following link to know about supported operating systems:

Let me know the driver version you are installing and the operating system you have.
