change 3d settings?

so I'm trying to fix a bug in a game and I heard that I'm supposed to change something in the 3d settings of the control panel of the gpu so I looked all the way through the command center but nowhere I found something along the lines of 3d settings and when I look it up I only find videos of it in nvidia control panel. Is there a way I can change these settings?

Hello asi999,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:

  • Provide the model of your Intel processor or Intel graphics.
  • What is the issue you are having with the game?
  • What is the function of the setting you are looking for?

These are the adjustments you can do for games in the Intel® Graphics Command Center https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057285/graphics.html

Hey, my gpu is Intel(R) HD graphics 520 and my processor is a i5 6200U

Im playing minecraft with mods and whenever i load into a world and hold an item or look at an npc my whole screen just becomes 1 color and also npcs and dropped items just appear to be fully black and the terrain sometimes flickers random colors like it cant render properly

the guy told me to try this:

Open Nvidia Control Panel (or whatever control panel your graphics card offers) Manage 3D settings Go into Program settings Add Java(SE)Platform Binary and if you have it OpenJDK Set it to High-Performance NVIDIA Processor in option 2 Apply

Thank you for your response.

Those are instructions for the Nvidia Control Panel only, there is no way to change that setting through the Intel Graphics Command Center.

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card installed in your PC? The instructions seem to have the purpose of selecting the Nvidia card to run the OpenJDK implementation. If you have an Nvidia card, you should have the Nvidia Control Panel.
