display driver intel HD Graphics Driver for windows 8 stopped responding and has successfully recovered

Hello, I just got a new laptop but I am having issues with it. I keep getting the following error and my computer freezes for a moment a sometimes it crashes even when I am using firefox. I need help, I am really frustrated because I just spent a bunch of money on this computer.

I am sorry to hear that have had problems with the Intel Graphics Driver.

This type of error has been reported at Intel and several solutions were posted at the following URL:

When you install the latest video drivers, I recommend forcing the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:
