You may have to uninstall your previous driver completely before you can successfully install the latest version. Start in Apps & Features and uninstall the Intel Graphics Driver entry. After rebooting, check in Device Manager to see if an Intel Graphics driver is still installed. If one is, right click on the entry and select Uninstall Device. In the dialog that follows, choose to delete all related software.
