game isnt stretching to full screen after making desktop stretch to full screen

i have a 12 gen uhd graphics with windows 11... discovered the intel graphics commander and was able to stretch the desktop to full screen at 1024x768 but the game still has bars on the side...

nevermind raised the refresh rate to 120 hz and now it works...
