Hello Jimmy24,

Thank you for the information provided. We see that the issue started once you set a custom fan curve setting. Based on your issue, we would like to recommend you test the following:

  • Uninstall Intel® Arc™ Control following the steps below:
  1. Press the Windows key.
    1. Click settings.
    2. Select Apps and then select Apps & features.
    3. Search the list for Intel® Arc™ Control software and click it.
    4. Select Uninstall.

Hello Jimmy24,

Thank you for posting in the Intel Communities. We will help you with the Graphics card fan speed being at 0 RPM.

Based on your issue, we would like to ask for more information to have more insight into your issue:

  • When did this issue start? You mentioned that, at some point, it started to be more frequent; was there a hardware or software update before it started happening more frequently?
  • We see that you have an Intel Arc A750; however, we would like to know the exact model of your graphics card. Let us know if you have a let us know if you are using a Limited Edition Card or are using any card from a different manufacturer: Acer, AsRock, Sparkle, MSI.
  • To gather more information about your system, we want to ask you to provide us with a system report using the Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU):
    • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."

We also understand that you reported to have other issues. However, we invite you to submit another thread regarding your other two issues. Please note that we recommend reporting one issue per thread to keep the threads organized. But we want to let you know that even if you can hear the Coil Whine noise, this should not damage the card or affect functionality, and we are currently looking into the error message you received when the Arc Control software is trying to update the graphics driver.

Best regards,

A-1 :this issue started when i use custom fan curve setting (i like cool temp rather than noise ) , and yes i have updated to the version 31.0.101.4953 and this was the scene , the 0 rpm only comes when i just start the pc not in between , and once i just change the % eg - 50% to 51% and i apply the settings the fan starts , its just the glitch in software mostly as i need to manually apply it

A-2:i have intel arc a 750 limited edition from intel

A-3: i have uploaded the ssu files

Hello Jimmy24,

It's important to note that if you remove all graphics drivers, you'll initially see a blank screen, but you should eventually receive an image. Once all graphics drivers have been removed from your system, the graphics controller in Device Manager should be listed as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" or something similar. For the instructions to uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), please refer to our previous post on "How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver":

  • Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) software and extract the file.
  • Open DDU ****.exe and run the extract program.
  • Reboot into Windows* safe mode. (Refer to Start your PC in safe mode in Windows.)
  • Go to the DDU extract path and double-click the Display Driver Uninstaller.exe to open the DDU.
  • Click Close in the Options window.
  • Select device type to GPU and select device to INTEL.
  • Click Clean and restart, wait for the software to finish the process, and auto-reboot Windows to normal mode.

About the question if the graphical settings will work after removing the Arc Control, we need to look into this internally to properly answer this question. Allow us some time to research this internally. We will be posting back as soon as we have more details.

Hello Jimmy24,

We would like to let you know that the Gpu configuration will be eliminated after removing the Arc Control software. The application is changing all settings to defaults on uninstall/reinstall. The only exception is the settings under the "Display" tab - these are kept even from uninstall/reinstall. The Arc Control team is aware of this behavior and is working on improvements for future app updates; however, we can't provide an ETA yet.

Finally, we are happy to hear from you that you didn't have the issue after running the DDU, Since the issue is now solved, we will proceed to close this thread. If you need any additional information, submit a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
