graphics error intel hd 530, resolucion 1600x900 samsung monitor

Hi, I'm from Buenos Aires Argentina, I recently bought an i3 6100 with integrated board HD 530, a few months ago, I have problems with the screen resolution of my samsung syncmaster 2033 monitor, which works at 1600x900 60hz, I have windows 10 64bit, and the Intel driver are updated to the latest version which is 21.20.16.4552, but it gets unstable at times, I have to use it at 1440x900, If I use the resolution of 1600x900 the image is deformed

Could you please attach your system information, the DxDiag file, the report for Intel® graphics drivers and the Intel SSU?

Download Intel® System Support Utility
  1. Download the utility
  2. Run the exe and select 'Scan'
  3. Save and include as an attachment in the Intel Community Forum

DxDiag Instructions:
  1. Click on the "Start Menu" -> Type "DxDiag" -> Press "Enter" -> Wait for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to finish loading
  2. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click "Save All Information" -> Save the file DxDiag.txt
  3. Include DxDiag.txt as an attachment in the Intel Community Forum

Thanks for the information; unfortunately VGA is not supported by the Skylake processor, you can see processor and graphics specs here:

I understand that probably you prefer to use VGA for some reason but for better resolution it will be better to use HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI.

 

 

I'm sorry this is not what you want to hear and you wanted a solution but unfortunately this is unsupported.

I think it is a problem of drivers, now it works in 1600x900, when the computer goes into suspension in windows 10, it would seem that this fault is generated

Analog display interfaces, such as VGA, provide basic visual quality and resolution when connected with these components.

 

 

The Intel® driver has been tested and validated with the graphics output that I posted above, however, you can also try using the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel to set the resolution, just right click on the desktop and click graphics properties and click display, there you can set the resolution for your system and it will give you the supported resolution.

I can see that you're able to get up to 2048 x 1152 with your system. Are you still getting the problem?

It is strange what happens, now for example, it is working normal 1600x900, but at times it puts back any resolution, I notice that it is fixed or fails when it returns from the suspension

Thanks for the information, perhaps you need a BIOS update, try to update your motherboard BIOS, contact or access your motherboard manufacturer website for BIOS update instructions, however, I cannot guarantee full functionality on this since the graphics does not apply for VGA.
