i can`t run my Monitor on 144 hz

Installed the newest driver an bought a new HDMI Cable but still i can not choose 144 hz for my monitor.

Thank you for posting in the community! Based on the System Support Utility (SSU) logs you provided, I see that you are using a B580 GPU, and your monitor’s maximum refresh rate is 120Hz at 1080p. Additionally, you are on the latest driver update.


To better investigate this issue, I have a few follow-up questions:


  • What is the exact model of your monitor?
  • Is the HDMI cable you’re using from the monitor manufacturer, or is it a third-party cable?
  • What HDMI version are you currently using?
  • Is your system newly built, or did you only upgrade the GPU?
  • Have you used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the previous driver and perform a clean installation?


Additionally, to further analyze the issue, I would like to review your monitor’s EDID data. To retrieve this information:


  1. Install the Intel Graphics Command Center (Beta) from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Navigate to Support → System Diagnostic.
  3. Click "Generate Report" to create a text file containing EDID and other relevant graphics details.

Hi, i use a Display Port cable now and this is working on 144 MHz with the Monitor.
Everything ok.
