markee2: We will do our best to try to fix this problem.

We recommend to install the graphics drivers provided by the manufacturer of the laptop since those drivers were customized by them to work with your specific platform. Please try to install driver version V20.19.15.4454:

If the problem persists, then we can always try to install the generic graphics drivers for the Intel® HD Graphics 530 controller. Currently the latest version is 24.20.100.6229:

Any questions, please let me know.

thanks for the response.

i tried both of the drivers above but no luck.

while installing the generic the 24.20.100.6229 driver. blue screen on my laptop error message Video TDR Failure - igdkmd64.sys

so i tried installing via safemode, then restart.

i noticed screen purely black but i can move my mouse cursor

so i restart then go safemode and disable intel hd graphics then restart then display is ok.

what i noticed is dispaly is available only when intel hd graphics is disabled, else it will be blackscreen.

another problem is i cant use my dedicated nvidia 960m graphics when intel hd is disabled.

any idea on the problem?

markee2: Thank you for providing those results and for sharing the picture.

In this case, we can always try to install the Intel generic graphics driver manually, on the following link you will see the instructions of how to do that:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629/graphics-drivers.html

If the problem persists after that, then what we recommend is to get in contact with ASUS directly, for them to provide further assistance since the problem could be related to a hardware component.

Any questions, please let me know.
