internal keyboard is not working under some circumstances

Dear Intel Support Team,

I am experiencing an unusual issue with my Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 laptop, which is powered by the Intel i7-1195G7 processor. The laptop's keyboard stops functioning whenever the screen angle is less than 180 degrees (e.g., when the display is tilted closer to the keyboard). However, the keyboard works normally when the screen angle is at 180 degrees or more (e.g., when the laptop is fully open or used in tablet mode).

I have already tried basic troubleshooting steps such as updating drivers, checking BIOS settings, and running hardware diagnostics, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise if this problem could be related to the processor, chipset, or any other Intel component? If not, do you recommend further steps I should take?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Aryan baliyan

This is a hardware problem, probably related to a loose ribbon cable or connector.  Talk to dell or take it to a repair shop.
