I have a surface pro 2 with Win8.1.
I manually installed the lastest graphic driver (15.36.14.4080)
but it has no "Display Power Saving Technology" function in the "Power" page.
I need to disable "Display Power Saving Technology" to prevent screen auto flashing when I switch between light and deep background
Any suggestion to do this!!!

You may want to try using the driver provided by Microsoft* (through Windows* Updates). Some features are only available from the driver given by the system manufacturer.
You can enable/disable adaptive brightness in Control Panel, Power Options, Change advanced power settings, Display.

It cound not provide any help when I use battery. It still auto tune the brightness on battery!!
