Hello mocelise,

Thanks for posting in the community. To further assist you, I have a few questions. Please see them below:

  1. Can you tell me the exact brand name of your B580?
  2. Is this the first Intel GPU you have, or did you have a different GPU before?
  3. Have you performed a clean installation of the graphics driver, especially using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)?
  4. Is your Smart Access Memory enabled in your BIOS?
  5. Are you experiencing any errors or issues when using your system?

Also, to better understand your entire system information, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This will generate a text file that compiles all your system information. You can follow this link for instructions and send the text file here: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility

Hi mocelise,

Thank you for patiently waiting.

To further troubleshoot the issue, please try the following steps:

1. Update Drivers: Right-click on the NF I2C Slave device in Device Manager and select 'Update driver.' Choose 'Search automatically for drivers' to allow Windows to find and install the appropriate driver. If the issue persists, proceed to step 2.

2. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the current graphics driver, then install the latest graphics driver version 32.0.101.6332_101.6253 (Latest).

3. If the issue continues, please take a screenshot of the error message displayed under the Device status of the NF I2C Slave Device.

Hi mocelise,

i had the same problem with the Intel Arc B580 Steel Series from AsRock.

it seems that the NF I2C Slave Device is the RGB contoller driver for the graphics card RGB lighting.

i´ve downloaded  and installed the AsRock Polychrome sync software and the missing device was found.

maybe Gunnir had a similar software.

hope it helps

best regards,

Hi mocelise,

It is true that this "NF I2C Slave Device" is the RGB controller driver for the RGB graphics card illumination.

With that being said, its best to wait for the response of Gunnir Official Support for the drivers.

Try to install this driver manually through the device manager.

Although I didn't find out any difference after installing this driver, but this get rid of the annoying exclamation in the device manager at least.

Also may be remember to uninstall this driver first when Gunnir release their official support for the RGB controller.
