unable to detect integrated gpu

after updating to windows 11 24H2, my laptop is unable to detect my intel hd 5500 graphics. i tried installing the drivers using the .exe but it just stops working after the first dialog. any solutions?

Seems to not be supported on W11:

Look under "Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics"
