unable to update to Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7080

This update was released on November 7 2025 and I've been trying to update with IDSA and manually, but it never works giving me always the same error

"Installation failed with error code 0x8000847B (-2147449733)"

I've tried to search for solutions on google and in the forums but I haven't found anything yet.

I mostly use my pc for gaming and I've been prompted to update my Graphics Driver a few times already.

Currently I have a 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H with 2.30 GHz, which should be compatible with the update in question.

Can anybody help me with this problem? I've been going crazy trying to update and I can't seem to find a solution everywhere.

Thanks in advance and I apologize if my English isn't perfect.

I also have a SSU log if it could help in any way.

  1. This once, download and install your driver manually:
  2. Download the latest Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7080
  3. Disconnect the internet.
  4. Right click on currently installed driver (in Device Manager), then click on Uninstall device. Check the "Delete the driver software from this device" option.
  5. Reboot your computer. After finishing uninstalling you should see Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter. If don't see yet the Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter, repeat para. 4-5.
  6. Now, install previously downloaded driver 32.0.101.7080
  7. Reconnect the internet and reboot your computer.

Okay so, I tried and after I installed the driver 32.0.101.7080 nothing happened.

I then reconnected the internet and rebooted, still nothing.

After about 1/2 minutes the screen went black, I heard a "beep" and when it came back to normal I checked in the Device Manager and the old driver version was back.

I followed the steps precisely as they were written so I'm genuinely confused now.

I've also made another scan with the SSU so I'll prove the log

I still want to thank you for trying to help me, even if it didn't work.

I encountered problem on installing this version of driver as well.

On ISDA website, "Download Failed Unexpectedly" prompted after "Download" button is clicked.

Attempted to install manually (filename: gfx_win_101.7080.exe), following error message prompted in a dialog box:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

It mentions about the file C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe as it's shown in the dialog header.

I'm sure that the mentioned file does exist and executable.  Also, the same error still happened when running the exe file as administrator.
