Solved: upgrade and replace intel motherboard dq45cb

Hi there,

My intel motherboard dq45cb ( very old I know…) is failing and causing all kinds of issues. I need to upgrade but what motherboard do I upgrade to?

Can someone please assist?

Intel does not make motherboards any longer.

You neew a new board (asus, msi, gigabyte, etc), new memory, new processor, new cooling system, probably a new power supply, etc.

Or, you could just purchase a pre-built system (i.e. dell) and be done with it.
