Hello Randy T.
Thank you for your reply.
I have attached the SSU log and application error log, so please check them.
I downloaded the game from the XBOX app.
The error occurred after updating the app, so I am also collecting information from the Microsoft Flight Simulator community, but I have not found a solution.
I uninstalled the game and the graphics driver yesterday and performed a clean install, but it did not solve the problem.
I would appreciate your help in solving the problem.

Hi @hiki0 ,
I reviewed the SSU log report and noticed that the BIOS is outdated, currently at version F18 dated 03/22/2024. Please try updating it to the latest version, F19c, available here: [B550M AORUS PRO (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.S.A.]. You may also want to consult with the motherboard manufacturer to ensure that this update will positively impact system stability. While I continue to investigate the potential root cause of the game crash issue, please proceed with the BIOS update and monitor whether the problem persists, as an updated BIOS may help resolve this issue.
Warm regards,
Randy T.

Hi Randy T.
Sorry for the late reply.
I performed the BIOS update as suggested, but it did not improve the situation.
After updating the BIOS, I also refreshed Windows 11, but the game crashed.
However, when I checked the Windows log after the game crashed, I found that the game was giving an error after giving a "dwm.exe" error.
I am currently looking for a way to improve the "dwm.exe" error.
Warm regards

Hi @hiki0 ,
Error message DXGI-ERROR-DEVICE-HUNG shows up on game Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This has a number of possible causes, see the suggestions below:
- One of the most common reasons for this error is that the graphics drivers requires an update. Make sure you have the latest version using the instructions in How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11*. Important: Use DDU to remove your current graphics driver. Next, install your graphics card's most recent graphics driver.
 - Unstable overclocking in graphics card, processor, or memory: in this case, set up your voltage and speed according to system specifications.
 - Error in monitor frequency synchronization: to fix this, block the game or application at 60 FPS, activate "Full window and No frames" option, instead of allowing the application to control the screen. (for isolation only)
 - If the previous three options do not resolve the issue, it is possible the memory is failing. In that case, you can test the memory with third-party tools like MemTest or others, to determine if the memory is the issue.
 - If all four previous options do not resolve the issue, try uninstalling and re-installing the game or application. Kindly also get insights with the game developer as this issue is under investigation on our end.

I will report an update here once I have additional information and findings about this issue.
Warm regards,
Randy T.

Hi Randy T.
I implemented the four solutions you advised me about, but it did not improve the game crashes.
However, I am grateful because the Windows errors have decreased.
I then installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and found that it worked properly, so I think it might be a problem with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
I am currently searching for a solution in the MSFS2024 community, but have not found one yet.
I have attached the current error information just in case.
I would appreciate any useful information you may have.
Warm regards,
hiki0

Hi @hiki0 ,
Thank you for your update and for implementing the solutions I provided. I'm glad to hear that the Windows errors have decreased. However, I understand that the game crashes have not improved, and I appreciate your patience as we work through this issue.
Based on your description, it seems that the problem may be software-based rather than related to driver optimization, especially since Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is working properly. This suggests that the issue might be specific to the game.
I see that you are actively searching for a solution within the MSFS2024 community, which is a great approach. Could you please clarify if this indicates that the issue with the game is resolved? If not, and you need further assistance from me, Could you please confirm whether the crashing occurs during gameplay or when attempting to open the game? If the issue arises during gameplay, I kindly request that you share a screenshot of your game settings. This will help us attempt to replicate the problem and identify potential solutions.
Warm regards,
Randy T.
