I have a custom fan curve set that increases the RPM a little bit just to keep temperatures low on B580 LE. Just now though I noticed after I left the computer to sleep for an hour or two and then booting up Phasmophobia that the fans were allowing the GPU to hit 95°C on the core and 100°C on the memory. After disabling the custom fan curve the fans working normally again. This has only happened once as far as I can tell and I don't think this is a hardware defect as the card works perfectly fine.
I was told before to provide an SSU file when reporting a different issue previously so one is included here. It is using the latest ARC drivers.
Thank you for the help!

Hello Bonus,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
To assist you properly, please share the information below.
1. How did you configure the custom fan curve? Can RPM settings you can share?
2. Does the temperature issue occur only with Phasmophobia, or have you noticed similar behavior with other games or applications?
3. Does the problem consistently occur?
4. What tool are you using to monitor the GPU temperatures? Are the readings consistent with other monitoring tools?
5. Have you observed any temperature spikes or anomalies in the past, or is this the first occurrence?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards

Hello JedG, thanks for getting back to me.
1. I don't have it saved, I just raised the RPM a little at every step and I did not lower the RPM.
2. It only happened one time so I don't know but I doubt it was something exclusive to phasmophobia.
3. No, it only happened once.
4. HWinfo64 + Rivatuner Statistics Server to display the stats on screen.
5. The cooler on the card I have works fine and keeps the temps down even with the full TGP being pulled with no temperature spikes on the core or memory so this seems to have been a fan speed control error because it was resolved immediately upon changing the fan curve back to default.
Thank you!

Hello Bonus,
Thank you for sharing all this information.
We would like to try and replicate this in our test lab if possible. For us to facilitate this, we kindly ask for the additional details below.
1. In game settings being utilized
2. Which game distribution platform is being used (Steam, Epic Games, etc.)?
3. Which drivers have you tested so far?
I understand that you don't have the fan curve settings saved, but it would be extremely helpful if you could identify the specific fan curve settings that were active when the issue occurred. This information will greatly assist us in accurately reproducing and analyzing the problem.
Best regards

Hey JedG,
Maximum settings for everything except screen space illumination and antialiasing which were set to off. and the resolution was 4k. It was running through steam on windows 10. I will attempt to recreate the issue later and maybe record it but the specific fan curve used was to raise each point on the graph a by around 15% and some points on the graph that were under the Zero RPM line were raised above it. Sorry for not having helpful information, again, I'll try to recreate the circumstances again by setting a custom fan curve and letting the computer idle and sleep for a while and record it if I find anything.
Thank you!

Hello, I think it was just some kind of freak error with the software caused by system instability and probably just my fault.
Thank you!
