Failed Driver Installation

Tried Installing the latest drivers for my Intel A770 GPU both with DSA and manually. When Installed with DSA I'm given the error code 999 and when installed manually it starts installing but nothing happens.

Thank you for posting in our Community. I understand that you’re encountering error code 999 when using Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (DSA), and that the manual installation process does not complete. 

To better understand the issue, could you please confirm the following:

  • When you tried manual installation, did the installer freeze, close unexpectedly, or just stay idle without progressing?
  • Do you have any antivirus or security software running that might block driver changes?
  • You mentioned that you attempted to install the latest drivers for your Intel® A770 GPU both through Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) and manually. Could you please confirm the exact driver version you tried in both cases? Additionally, the error code 999 is unusual. Could you clarify where you encountered this error? Was it during the DSA installation or the manual one? If possible, please also share a screenshot of the error message to help us investigate further.
