So I noticed an issue when playing Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition. It will be better If I show you a video than explaining in huge text. Shortly, you can see how water reflections have strange flickering in a triangle form around a player.
Also there is another issue with perfomance when turning the flashlight on (fps drops on avarage by 20%)

Hello he1ntz_ua,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
- Is the graphics card an Intel Branded Card or is it of another brand?
- Take screenshots of the game settings, in case we need them to replicate the issue.
- I see you attached a screenshot of the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU), please provide us with the report if it, it has more information of your system environment, that will be helpful to provide you with the next steps, by following the article How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows.
For the performance issue, since this is a different problem, please open a new thread, to keep this one organized, and we will be more than glad to help you.
Regards,
Andres P.

1. ASRock brand.
2. As the game doesn't have advanced settings I can simply write what settings preset I have:
- Resolution: 2560x1440
- Quality: High
- Vsync: Half of 170Hz
- Motion blur: Low
- RT: Normal
- VRS: 4x
- Tesselation: On
- HDR: On (It has no impact whatsoever, because it has the same issue with disabled)
- Shading rate: 1x

Hello he1ntz_ua,
Thank you for all the information provided.
I have checked on the Intel® SSU that there are some pending updates, since we recommend to have the system up to date because it may help to improve the compatibility, stability and performance of the graphics, please follow the steps below and let me know the results:
- Clean install the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver. Then install the latest driver 31.0.101.5084/31.0.101.5122.
- Update Windows 11 to version 23H2. For updates steps, contact Microsoft.
- Update the BIOS to version. For installation steps, contact Gigabyte.

I've done everything you recommended besides updating Windows 11 because it has no available updates for now. The problem persists,.

Hello he1ntz_ua
We have received another report of texture corruption in water surfaces with this game, however, the issue was only happening when using the game's safe mode which uses DX11. Are you running the game in safe mode or is it regular mode? Note I am not referring to Windows safe mode but a safe mode the own game includes.

I run Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition in DX12 regular mode. Maybe the issue is all about raytraicing, but it is only a speculation.

Yeah, I am in no rush, but it is quite disappointing that it takes too long just to verify the issue.

Hello he1ntz_ua,
Thank you for your time and patience.
We have completed the replication and we were able to reproduce the issue, but when I tested the game with the latest graphics driver 31.0.101.5186 and so far I couldn't see the issue. Refer to the following video: https://youtu.be/85vV9Rcn92A.
I recommend you install our latest graphics driver available, since this may improve the performance and stability of the graphics card, by following the steps below:
- Clean install the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
- Then, install the graphics driver version 31.0.101.5186.
Let me know if you still have the same issue after the update.

Andres P.
