My Intel Arc a750 is having problems with the power supply

Good morning,
I'm having problems with my Intel Arc A750.
I have had the card for 2 years, 
I only realized today that my card had never exceeded 200W power supply.
To explain my problem:
On Red Dead Redemption I had to open a web page so that my GPU
went from 120W for around 35/40fps to 180W for around 90fps.
I found it strange but it worked.
My computer has a blue screen and since then my GPU
does not exceed 140W and therefore 50FPS even with my technique. I noticed that when I opened this famous internet page,
the WATT went from 140 to 180w. But as soon as I click on my game window,
the main task, the Watt goes down and so do the fps...
Note that on Intel Graphic Software,
GPU utilization is constantly and in all cases at around 98%.
I have 32GB of RAM and an AMD R7 5700X3D.
CPU/GPU temperatures not exceeding 62°.
I don't know what to do because I haven't seen anything like this.

Hello Antrasiik,

Thank you for posting in the community, to further investigate this issue I would like to ask some questions related to this issue. Please answer the following questions below:


  1. Have you checked if the power connectors are plugged in properly?
  2. Have you tried using a different PSU for testing?
  3. Can you tell me what the error message is from the blue screen?
  4. If possible, can you provide a screenshot of the error message in Event Viewer?
  5. Are you currently on the latest BIOS version?
  6. What is the current graphics driver version you have?
  7. Can you tell me the model of your PSU?

Désolé pour la réponse tardive. Je n'avais pas vu votre réponse et je vous remercie de m'avoir répondu afin de m'aider.
 
Pour vous répondre:
Les connecteurs sont correctement branchés, j'ai pu essayer avec une autre alimentation une 750W 80plus bronze comme la mienne et cela ne change rien.
J'ai eu un écran bleu mais cela est du a l'overclock que j'avais réalisé sur mon processeur.
Je possède la dernière version de mon bios et la dernière version du pilote pour l'intel arc a750 (32.0.101.6449)
mon alimentation est une Cooler Master 750W 80plus bronze
 
Pour être plus précis sur mon problème, ma carte graphique ne dépense presque jamais les 160W de consommation en pleine charge en jeu. Je ne crois, pas que c'est normal et c'est dommage car j'ai l'impression de ne pas avoir les performance qu ela carte pourrait m'offir. A noter que mon CPU est un Ryzen 7 5700X3D de ce fait en jeu en 1440P le bottleneck est environ de 1% donc il n'y pas a pas bride a ce niveau.

I see, seems that using different PSU have the same result. But could you try reseating your GPU for now? Also can you tell me what is the full make and model of your motherboard?

Bonjour Dhanniel M,

Je vais bien je vous remercie. Concernant ma carte c'est une AsRock b550 steel legend.
Je ne vous l'est pas indiqué mais ma a750 est une AsRock. Je ne sais pas si cela a une influence.

Pensez vous que je devrais me tourner vers AsRock pour evoquer avec eux ce soucis de carte qui ne dépasse pas les 180W ?

Thank you for informing me about this. Let's try to resolve the issue before reaching out to Asrock. I have a few more questions:


  1. Could you please tell me the make and model of your motherboard?
  2. Can you share a screenshot of your Intel Graphics Software showing the voltage of your GPU under load?
  3. Have you checked the GPU voltage when only a web page is open, without any other applications running?
  4. Have you tried running a stress test on your GPU?

Bonjour,

1. Concernant ma CM c'est une AsRock b550 steel legend.
2. Je vous transmets une capture de la tension de mon GPU.
3. Oui la tension redescend de manière tout a fait normal.
4. Oui j'ai réalisé plusieurs benchmark et ceux ci sont concluants a partir du moment où la fenêtre du bench n'est pas en fenêtre principale, dès lors ma carte atteint ses 216W.
