My opinion and praise about the Intel® Graphics driver and the ARC B580 12GB GPU

Hello, my name is Bruno! I'm here to express my immense satisfaction with the Intel Arc B580 12GB graphics card. I'm here to request improvements from Intel regarding the display options. I play CS2, LOL, and Valorant. I experienced very good performance in Valorant, but some significant drops in CS2. In CS2, I like to use stretched screens, but Intel's software is still buggy with the options to stretch the screen or keep it full screen. I would like you to seek more resources for your users. I bet on Intel because I trust the brand and know your capacity in the market. I would like to request new features within the Intel graphics software, allowing us loyal users more screen resources. Every time I try to stretch the screen, I get black borders around the screen. One of the factors that bothered me most about the card was its poor compatibility with older games like Crossfire and League of Legends. I would really like you to solve these problems in future updates, providing some additional information about my setup: i5-12400f + 16gb corsair 3200mhz cl 16, Motherboard with 4g decoding + ReBar on (it is not a bottleneck issue). Thank you for your attention!

We appreciate your support and your feedback is important as we strive to improve. To properly address your concerns, I highly recommend that you create separate threads for each games that you're having issues with since we can only support 1 issue per thread.

 

We'll focus on addressing the low performance with CS2 on this thread and to investigate properly, kindly share the information below.

 

1. Photo of the Black borders on CS2 when stretching the screen

2. What is the in-game settings being used?

3. Do the performance drop on a specific map?

4. What is your average FPS?

 

Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

Appreciate the feedback, Bruno! Intel definitely needs to improve scaling options and legacy game support-hope future updates fix this.
