Hello,
You are experiencing an issue with the audio output from your Arc B580 graphics card via DisplayPort (DP) or HDMI to your monitors. However, you're able to hear audio through your headset connected to your controller, which suggests the system is correctly routing audio to other devices.
1. Check Audio Output Settings in Windows:
Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner).
Select Open Sound settings.
Under Output, make sure your monitor (connected via DP or HDMI) is selected as the audio output device. If it's not, click on the dropdown and select the correct monitor (or display device) that should be outputting audio.
2. Ensure HDMI Audio is Enabled:
Sometimes, Windows does not automatically set the HDMI/DP output as the primary audio device.
Right-click the sound icon again and select Playback devices.
Look for an audio device that corresponds to your monitor or the HDMI/DP connection (it might be listed as “Intel Display Audio” or similar).
If you see it, right-click and choose Set as Default Device.
3. Update Graphics Drivers:
If the issue persists, the graphics drivers might not be correctly configured to handle audio output over HDMI/DP.
Go to Device Manager (press Windows + X, then choose Device Manager).
Expand the Display Adapters section, right-click your Arc B580 graphics card, and choose Update driver.
You can choose to automatically search for updates, or visit Intel’s website for the latest driver version.
4. Check Your Monitor’s Audio Settings:
Some monitors have internal settings that manage audio output. Ensure that the audio is enabled in your monitor’s on-screen display (OSD) settings. Some monitors may also require you to connect speakers or a headphone jack to the monitor itself for audio to work.
5. Verify HDMI/DP Cable and Port:
Try using a different HDMI or DP cable to rule out the possibility of a faulty cable.
Try connecting to a different port on the graphics card or monitor to see if the issue is isolated to a specific port.
Best Regard,
lapino

I am running Windows 11 Pro
I just tried all of that. But my monitors are not showing up as an option. I just recently built this computer. But had audio and video with the old video card Titan X (Pascal) leftover from my old computer. The video card was a much-needed upgrade. I ran the Display Driver Uninstaller. Then added this Arc B580 video card and now no audio through the monitors. I have attached a picture show it's not recognizing the monitors and one showing my build.

Ok after digging into this more. I came across this error message and ten found it on AMD's website. I ran the tool, and the software say, "There is no AMD Software application installed". Does this mean the graphics card is not compatible with my system? I'm about ready to take this thing back!
