Thank you for posting in our community.
I understand that Rainbow Six Siege's performance is showing sudden FPS drops after +30 minutes of what used to be perfectly fine gameplay. Let's look into it.
We have a new driver for you to update to 32.0.101.5971 so please try it out. This time do a clean driver installation using DDU just to be sure there isn't any corrupted .dlls or similar.
If the issue persists I would suspect a throttling issue. That is why I recommend running CapFrameX or similar tool that can capture performance indicators throughout the entire gameplay session. Refer to the instruction here for more info. Feel free to zip the resulting .JSON files and share them here so I can analyze them.
Finally, please let me know the following:
- Make and model of your power supply.
- GPU manufacturer (Intel, Sparkle, Acer, AsRock, etc.)
- Have you overclocked the GPU?
Best Regards,
Ronald M.

Hi @Yippee
Thanks for the information.
The CapFrameX data you shared is about 18 seconds of gameplay so it might not paint a clear picture. I noticed the VRAM usage is quite low (2.6 GB average) vs. the 4.7 GB average I saw in my latest test (CapFrameX data attached).
I do have to point out your power supply does not meet the minimum requirements for this GPU as it should be at least 600 Watts so please take this into consideration.
In my tests I could not see the issue, perhaps due to the fact the game has been updated and now supports DirectX 12.
Please update to driver 32.0.101.5989 and run the game on DirectX 12 (default API now) and let's see the results.
Best Regards,
Ronald M.
