Hello. I just want to report for the future drivers update that gpu doesn't recognize Variable refresh rate through HDMI or Displayport on my Acer 24G2W1G4 monitor, runs memory at full speed at desktop enviroment with PCIe aspm enabled. Also experiences some flickering in Crysis remastered.

System:

AMD R7 5800x3d

Aorus X570 Ultra MBO

Gskill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600 cl16

Spark Arc B580 Titan

The Spark Arc B580 does not even recognise my display at all using DisplayPort.

I'm in talks with intel at the moment so will let you know when/if they find a fix.

Just to add that your monitor only support Variable refresh rate through DisplayPort.

Post a screenshot of your intel graphics software display page .

Variable refresh rates can only work with the AOC 24G2 monitor via DisplayPort. The monitor supports VESA AdaptiveSync there.

Via HDMI, Arc graphics cards can only support monitors with HDMI 2.1 VRR. This is not the case with the AOC 24G2.

Yeah. But as I said Variable refresh rate doesn't work via displayport either. In driver section display where is variable refresh rate indicated says it's not supported despite monitor being connected via displayport to B580. On my rx5700xt that I had before worked. 144hz refresh rate is correctly recognised but variable refresh rate doesn't work. That needs fixing

I'll give a little recap
VRR is not recognised via displayport even though monitor supports it.
Textures flicker in Crysis remastered
Call of duty modern warfare remastered runs great
Metro exodus enhanced runs great. Raytracing work like it should
Also, card is underutilized. That needs work for sure.

So to be exact and clear.

Variable refresh rate doesn't work through the display port even though monitor supports it, memory speed in desktop environment always runs at full speed. At least with latest 32.0.101.6253 driver.

Textures flicker in Crysis Remastered. Call of duty: Modern warfare 3 runs great, just like Metro Exodus enhanced with all settings turned to the extreme. And i do think that at 1080p gpu is underutilised.

A monitor uses the cable to communicate its capabilities to the graphics driver of the source device.

AMD FreeSync and VESA AdaptiveSync use different messages. Please make sure that AdaptiveSync is explicitly activated on the monitor. You can read how to do this here from page 21.

It says freesync. Also it is enabled. No AMD freesync, just freesync. If it is not compatible ok. But from some forums I've red that A770 works with freesync monitors. Doesn't matter anyway. Card works ok. Just the niggle with vram speed in desktop and some textures in crysis are things that are visible to me.

Please create a Report for Intel Graphics Drivers and attach the output file here.

This does not seem to be an isolated case. If you create the desired report, we can compare it with the others.
