good morning
I am David I come to send suggestions and it would be a good point, Both entry-end and high-end Intel Arc graphics card I would like you to implement or implement a future driver or controller and agree to the following technology, DXVK outperforms D3D9On12 when running DirectX 9 on an Intel Arc A750 if it now runs at 60 FPS it will now be increased to 123 FPS thanks to its DXVK technology for example if red dead redemption 2 runs at 60 FPS now it will be increased to 123 FPS thanks to DXVK technology and other games would be a real hoot.
It would be great to get that technology or drivers together and that would greatly benefit everyone.
Cheers David

Once the Linux support matures, it should be a lot more performant just running Proton on Steam there instead for older titles.
DXVK just seems to run better on Linux compared to Windows, no doubt thanks to the efforts of the Steam Deck team also.

Thank you very much Power Armor!!!
Now, but I would like DXVK to also be compatible with Microsoft, that is, Windows, Monday I bought the Intel Arc A770 16GB graphics card, I would like that Intel graphics to be superior, that is, a little higher than the RTX 3060 Ti, 5% 7% of performance we know that Intel is in them, because many people have told me that the Arc A770 16GB is almost almost at the level of the RTX 3070 we are hot on the heels for example I wanted to comment here that I would like the Arc A770 16GB to surpass the RTX 3060 Ti 5% and 7% of performance we are coming to step on the heels of the RTX 3070. Greetings

Intel needs to move from D3DOn12 to DXVK. The difference isn't even close.
Improving Intel ARC Performance With DXVK - YouTube
I have an A770 but we should all return our cards unless Intel confirms they're going to make this change. Either write a DX9 interface from scratch, or at least adopt the best translation layer.
I'm sure they won't want to ruffle Microsoft's feathers by using Vulkan over DX12 for DX9 titles, but DXVK is just better. The Valve team has put a lot of effort into it for Proton and will continue to do so. Unless DXVK can be matched tomorrow, this needs to change.
You can get away with punting to these translation layers for DX9, but at least use the best option. Your DX11/10 support needs to be direct to the API. Too many modern games utilize that. Unless you can't beat D3D11On12 in short order.
