Hello,
I am having choppy performance on intel arc b580 in The Crew 2. My settings are high @1080p. I also tried low settings @720p but still the same issue. The fps drops to 50s and sometimes 40s at any settings. I am expecting a stable 60 fps, can you please update the drivers so it can be a smooth playing experience.
Thanks

Intel core i5-13400f
Asrock arc b580 steel legends 12gb oc

Have you used DDU to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?
Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?
Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?

Thanks for responding Team Intel
1. The issue occurs throughout the gameplay.
2. I’ve been experiencing this issue ever since I started using the arc b580 to play this game. Even after a recent small update to the game, there has been no improvement in performance. My graphics card driver is also up to date.
3. Troubleshooting I did:
• Reduced the graphics settings to lowest @720p, but still frame drops. Doesn't feel stable 60fps.
• Tried playing in windowed mode.
4. Yes, I used DDU to uninstall the previous drivers. Before I was using rtx 4060 but there was no such issue in that card.
5. I have attached the graphics settings screenshot below.
6. The game was downloaded via steam. I am using windows 11, and resizable bar (ReBar) is enabled.
SSU text file is also attached below.

Hi Bilal99,
I would also like to obtain a CapFrameX log to thoroughly analyze the FPS performance. Kindly ensure that the game would run for a minimum of 2 minutes.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

I have attached the CapFrameX log file for The Crew 2 (about 3 minutes) - The first 30 seconds were in the garage, then to the open world driving. One thing I noticed is that the fps shows 60 but its the 1% lows which are very bad. The go as low as into the 30s, maybe thats the reason for performance dip and not smooth gameplay.

Hi Bilal99,
I have completed an analysis of the B580's performance using an AMD system.
During our tests, I observed that the B580 performs poorly when running games on high settings. However, when the settings are adjusted to low, the B580 performs well and is comparable to the RTX 4060.
Additionally, please try updating the driver version to the latest 6913 and please let me know if the issue still persists in your end.
I will be looking for other solutions and will update you if a resolution is available. Thank you.
Best regards,
Archie D.
