World War Z No Option to Select Vulkan

As the Subject Line suggests, there is no option for Vulkan in World War Z.  This wouldn't be an issue to run the game in DX11 with a nVidia or AMD graphics card (well maybe not as much AMD), but it runs abysmally on Arc.  In DX11 framepacing is awful, the framerate is low, and there is lots of flashing, disappearing textures, etc.  Vulkan and DX12 are supported natively on Arc, so I'm not sure what the issue is.  Does the game not detect the capabilities of the card (ie Arc driver not reporting Vulkan support)?  Or is the game forcing DX11?

I put this GPU in my daughter's PC, the specs are below:

Ryzen R7 3700X

ASUS ROG Strix B550-A Gaming

16GB (2X8) GSkill Trident Z RGB 3200

Intel Arc A750 8GB

WD nVME SSD 1TB (can't remember specifics)

WD SATA SSD 1TB (not sure of model number)

EVGA 700BR

I think that's the important stuff, sorry about being unspecific on drive model numbers.  I'm doing this from my computer, and I'd have to run down to my daughters room to get that info, and it isn't that important in this case.

Resizable Bar is enabled in BIOS and reports as enabled in Windows.  It seems to run other games fine, at least in the short time that she's had it.

Edit:  Forgot to mention she's running the latest Windows 11 and on driver 4091 (newest stable release).

Hello Techgeek,

Thank you for your patience.

We were able to reproduce the issue, and a bug report has been filed regarding the Vulkan option on the World War Z  game. We are currently working on this issue internally under bug ID 1809250327.

Unfortunately, we are unable to commit to a deadline or update for a fix to be implemented in a new driver since this process requires further effort on our part.

We are considering closing this thread, to void duplicate efforts. Before doing so, we would like to confirm if you agree to close the thread.
